Edward R. Murrow was a pioneering American broadcast journalist and war correspondent. He gained prominence with his riveting live radio broadcasts from London during World War II.  After the war, his television programs 'See It Now' and 'Person to Person' set standards for investigative reporting.  Murrow's fearless reporting, including his challenge to Senator Joseph McCarthy, made him an icon of journalistic integrity.
